Team’s Up – Same again Celts for UEFA Champions League clash

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic team for this evening’s UEFA Champions League game against Club Brugge. After Saturday evening’s 4-1 win against Hearts in Edinburgh, the Scottish Champions return to Paradise for Matchday Five of Europe’s top competition.

The manager has named an unchanged Starting XI for the game with Adam Idah and Paulo Bernardo missing out from the start. The duo will hope that they can influence the game from the bench.

Kasper Schmeichel starts in goals. The Dane face Brugge during his time with Anderlecht last season.

A back four comprises of Greg Taylor, Auston Trusty, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Alistair Johnston.

Arne Engels came through the Brugge youth system and the Belgium Internationalist starts alongside skipper Callum McGregor and Reo Hatate.

In attack, Kyogo starts as the central striker with Nicolas Kühn starting out right with Daizen Maeda on the left.

Subs: Sinisalo, Scales, Palma, Idah, Valle, Yang, McCowan, Nawrocki, Bernardo, Forrest, Ralston & Welsh
