Team’s Up – Stephen Robinson names St Mirren XI for Celtic clash

Stephen Robinson has named his St Mirren team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership game against Celtic. This is their third trip to Paradise this season and they’ll be up for making life difficult for the Champions.

Hemming, Fraser, Gogic, Taylor, Bwomono, Baccus, O’Hara, Boyd-Munce, Tanser, McMenamin, Olusanya,

Subs: Urminsky, Bolton, Dunne, Strain, Brown, Flynn, Jamieson, Scott, Mandron.

The Saints are in party mode as they have sealed a European place, meaning they will have a crack at Conference League qualifiers.

Elsewhere, Brendan has made six changes with the Cup Final in mind. There are three changes in the front line and three more in defence with Kyogo, Luis Palma, Nicolas Kuhn, Maik Nawrocki, Stephen Welsh and Tony Ralston coming in at the expense of Adam Idah, James Forrest, Daizen Maeda, Alistair Johnston, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Liam Scales.

Hart, Ralston, Welsh, Nawrocki, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Kuhn, Palma, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Johnston, Scales, Idah, Carter-Vickers, Iwata, Bernardo, Maeda, Forrest.

The game has added significance as it is Joe Hart’s final game at Celtic Park. The Englishman will retire at the end of the season after three brilliant years at the club. Hopefully, we can finish off with two wins and two trophies for Super Joe.
