Team’s Up – Stephen Welsh starts in Lenny’s 3-5-2 formation

NEIL LENNON has named his side to face Hamilton today in a match that will see Celtic go a Magnificent Seven points ahead of the Rangers with a victory.

Celtic have recorded two narrow wins against Hamilton this season, starting with a 1-0 on the plastic pitch and then a dramatic 2-1 win at Celtic Park with Scott Brown scoring a sensational winner deep into stoppage time after Hamilton had levelled the score in the last minute of the ninety.

Today Fraser Forster is in goals as usual and will be looking to do his bit be recording a clean sheet.

Stephen Welsh – recalled from his season long loan at Morton recently -Christopher Jullien and Kris Ajer form a back three – if the rather pleasing to the eye 3-5-2 is to continue. The wing backs are James Forrest – who Neil Lennon went out of his way to praise after the wide-man’s return to form at McDairmid Park – and Greg Taylor, The Celtic Star’s man of the Match in midweek.

The three in the middle are Scott Brown, Callum McGregor and Olivier Ntcham, who scored a spectacular goal up at Perth.

And the new striking partnership of Odsonne Edouard and Leigh Griffiths gets another outing and will, you would think, be causing Hamilton all sorts of problems today. Odsonne’s first goal for Celtic was at Hamilton I see to remember so it’s a lucky ground for him. Hopefully he adds to his tally there today.

On the bench are Bain, Bauer, Hayes, Rogic, Christie, Arzani and Klimala. Kick-off is at 12.30pm COYBIG.
