Team’s Up – Steven Naismith names Hearts team for Celtic clash

Hearts Head Coach Steven Naismith has named his team for this afternoon’s Cinch Premiership clash with Celtic. The Edinburgh side host the Scottish Champions at Tynecastle amidst the backdrop of a ticketing dispute with Hearts cutting Celtic’s allocation to just over 500 briefs. This move has backfired as they have been unable to sell the tickets that they took from Celtic supporters.

Naismith has named a strong side with Lawrence Shankland leading the line but a robust defence and midfield that will look to frustrate Brendan Rodgers’ side.

Hearts Starting XI: Clark, Sibbick, Kent, Rowles, Cochrane, Devlin, Nieuwenhof, Forrest, Lowry, Vargas, Shankland.

Subs: McGovern, Haring, Baningime, Grant, Boyce, Oda, Halliday, Denholm, Offiah.

Meanwhile, Rodgers has named a strong starting XI for the game.

Starting XI: Hart, Johnston, Carter-Vickers, Scales, Taylor, McGregor, O’Riley, Hatate, Maeda, Palma, Kyogo.

Subs: Bain, Yang, Turnbull, Phillips, Oh, Bernardo, Tomoki, Forrest, Ralston.

The game kicks off at 2:15pm (Celtic Park Time) and will be available on Sky Sports Football from 2pm.
