Martin O’Neill’s Celtic side goes third in the Scottish Premiership weekend schedule and will remain third in the table today regardless of the result at Dens Park against Steven Presley’s Dundee FC outfit in the 4.30pm kick-off…

That doesn’t mean Celtic has any wiggle room as Conall McGinty put it this morning.
This is a must win match for the Champions. Yesterday the Rangers jumped to the top of the table with a 4-2 win at Ibrox over Dundee United. As things stand Hearts will go top, they are currently drawing 2-2 at Livingston with just under a half hour to play.
That result if it stands will see Hearts open up an SIX points lead on Celtic with the Rangers FIVE ahead of O’Neill’s side so with just SIX games to go after today Celtic really can’t afford to drop anything in Dundee today. After three defeats on the bounce in the City of Discovery Celtic need the THREE points like never before. Anything else and it’s curtains for our title defence.
The Celtic manager is looking to this starting XI to get he job done at Dens Park;

Celtic XI: Sinisalo; Donovan, Trusty, Scales, Tierney; McGregor (c), Oxlade-Chamberlain, Nygren, Yang, Cvancara, and Maeda.
Celtic subs: Doohan; McCowan, Iheanacho, Tounekti, Saracchi, Hatate, Arthur, Forrest and Ralston.

There’s no return for Arne Engels or Callum Osmand who are both back in the squad but lack match fitness.
By any means necessary, just get the job done Celtic!
