“The Celtic Star is one of my favourite media,” Ilir Meta, The President of Albania

Nice wee message today from Ilir Meta, The President of Albania this morning for The Celtic Star. After The President wished the Celtic family a good morning, we replied by returning the well wishes, saying “Good Morning Mr President”.

Ilir Meta’s response to the that was unexpected but were nice indeed.

“It is great to receive a message from you, especially since “The Celtic Star” is one of my favourite media. I would be very happy to meet in your work environment, with all your journalists, who do an admirable job.

“I wish you many more successes!”

Here’s the tweet so you can see for yourselves. The President of Albania confirms that he is a reader of The Celtic Star and that we are one of his favourite media! Tremendous!

Meanwhile Celtic have confirmed that the remaining tickets for the Premier Sports League Cup semi-final against St Johnstone on 20 November have now sold out.  Unless St Johnstone return any unsold tickets to sell onto Celtic Fans then that’s the Celtic tickets completely gone.

Celtic confirmed the news via the club’s official website this afternoon…
