What a night under the Paradise lights!
Three years ago today Celtic took on theRangers at Celtic Park knowing a victory would send us top of the table, as we aimed to win back our title that we lost with barely a whimper the season before during the Covid season.

That man Hatate
That man Hatate scored his and Celtic’s second with a fantastic effort from outside the box three minutes from the break, and it was game over. The atmosphere was deafening as we started to celebrate a win that would take us top.
While we were still celebrating that second goal Liel Abada struck to make it 3-0 on the stroke of half time, and it wasn’t just game over it was title challenge over for theRangers who never recovered from that mauling in Paradise.

The place was rocking so much so we didn’t even hear the whistle blow
The place was rocking so much so we didn’t even hear the whistle blow to signal half time. The second half was merely a formality, and we controlled the game, and while we didn’t add to our tally, the final whistle sounded to rapturous applause as we celebrated a victory that sent us back to our usual place a the top of the table, a position we have remained in ever since.

What a night in Paradise
What a night in Paradise. If you ask any Celtic supporter to name their top three matches ever at Celtic Park this one is bound to feature prominently. So I suppose that is what I am asking you. Tell us your top three ever games at Celtic Park and why and we’ll collate into an article tomorrow on The Celtic Star…
