Kris Ajer has wished Moi Elyounoussi all the best after his fellow Norwegian officially signed off as a Celtic player today, as we featured earlier. Of course Ajer, famously one of Celtic’s want aways is hoping he too will be posting his own Celtic goodbyes this summer as he eyes a move to one of the big five European leagues to help develop his game and help him improve for the national side.
For Moi it’s back to Southampton and another bite at the Premier League cherry – if he is given the chance. He’d be a great recruit for Celtic and surely the coaches Ange Postecoglou inherited when he arrived in Scotland last week will be advising him of Elyounoussi’s attributes.

🚨Mohamed Elyounoussi appears to have played his last game for Celtic.
With 25 goals in 65 appearances it’s hard to argue the impact he had at the club.
His performance in the League Cup Semi Final vs Hibs was exceptional.
Cheers Moi @Moielyo 🍀👍🏻 pic.twitter.com/klJmt4Z5Fl

Will forever love Elyounoussi btw. Came up here and did his thing, playing reasonably well even though he was out of position a lot of the time and in a shit team this season.
Hope he gets gametime at Southampton or elsewhere
