The only explanation I can find

It might not have been any good for those of a nervous disposition, but by hook or by crook Celtic emerged from a tough trip to Pittodrie with three vital points and still sitting a point clear in the title race.

Celtic are undefeated in domestic football since 19 September and with last night’s win have now gone 20 games without defeat.

And after being sent on a rollercoaster ride of emotions in the freezing North East – as our Editor can attest too – the Celtic fans were in celebratory mood long after the final whistle as you can see from the social media clip and Celtic Star videos below…

“We’re at the Top of the League, looking down on the Rangers…”

“We’re on the Top of the league, looking down on theRangers, and the only explanation I can find, it’s that the form we have found since Ange has been around, that has put us at the top of the league.”

This chant is an absolute cracker and bound to get an airing in every game as Celtic head into the final thirteen games of the season with a confidence, belief and momentum that could take Celtic to a league title, few folks of sane mind would have considered a real possibility at the start of the season.

There is a real connect back at Celtic between the support the players and the manager, and as much as Celtic’s sustained run of form has been barely believable, the togetherness amongst the Celtic family has returned far quicker than many would have believed possible also. And much of that is down to the manager lauded in song last night.

The fact we are now looking down on theRangers is almost entirely down to the miracles worked by Ange Postecoglou – it’s the only explanation!

As a Bellshill Bhoy I was taken to my first Celtic game in the summer of 1987. It was Billy McNeill’s return to Celtic Park as manager and Celtic lost 5-1 to Arsenal . I thought I was a jinx, I think my Grandfather might have thought the same. It was the finest gift anyone ever gave me when he walked me through Parkhead's gates.
