This is Yatao – “Unfortunately there are no delicious sushi restaurants in Scotland,” Alistair Johnston

Celtic star Alistair Johnston expresses his enthusiasm for Canada’s friendly match against Japan…

Today, Alistair Johnston and Mauro Biello, the manager of Canada national team, attended the press conference ahead of the match against Japan and the Celtic right-back talked about his enthusiasm for playing against our Japanese Bhoys…

Alistair Johnston: “I’ve been talking a lot about this friendly match with Japanese Bhoys since this match was announced. I’m very sorry that Daizen can’t come to Japan this time, but other Bhoys also have great spirits.

“They are my teammates and rival players, so I talked to them to look back together about the match after tomorrow’s friendly match. We are usually teammates, but I want to be wary of them so that we never let them to score a goal.

“Also, both of them are in very good condition now, so I recognise that the match is very tough for us to stop them. By the way, unfortunately there are no delicious sushi restaurants in Scotland, so if possible, I would like to go eat delicious sushi with Japanese bhoys in Japan.”

Not too sure if that’s the case and unquestionably there will be delicious sushi restaurants around Scotland offering the Canadian star a chance to enjoy their sushi and prove him wrong about that!

Former manager John Herdman was dismissed in August after CONCACAF Gold Cup, Mauro Biello became the manager, and Canada national team did not play during International Match Week in September, so this match will be the first one under the manager.

For CONCACAF Nations League, the manager recognises this friendly match as an important match, and it seems that he intends to check weaknesses of the team while trying some systems. I’m looking forward to watching tomorrow’s match and and in particular our three Bhoys. The best result would be for them all to score a goal each so Japan win 2-1.
