Three Years Ago Today: Celtic Destroy Aberdeen At Pittodrie

On this day, three years ago, Brendan Rodgers’ Celtic side went to Pittodrie and put on a show. This was probably the last of the dynamic, full throttle attacking displays that we saw under Brendan’s managership, as we soon reverted to a slow possession based game. However, the football that night at Aberdeen was absolutely incredible to watch, as was the whole first 18 months of Rodgers’ reign.

Kieran Tierney was in the form of his life, scoring a beauty and showing great skill before setting up Moussa Dembele. The Frenchman was in inspired form himself as he bagged a brace.

Anything similar today would be lovely, though the result is all that really matters just now.
