TikTok Video: Odin Thiago Holm’s ‘Magnum’ moment

The official Celtic TikTok page has uploaded a clip showing off Odin Thaigo Holm’s first goal for Celtic.

On Sunday afternoon, holders Celtic welcomed Buckie Thistle to Celtic Park as the defence of the Scottish cup got underway. The Hoops successfully put five goals past the Highland League minnows to finish the entertaining match with the comfortable Celtic victory.everyone expected. And Holm managed to get his name on the scoresheet by scoring the second goal of the match and his first for the club since his arrival from Valerenga in the Norwegian Eliteserien.

In the clip, the Celtic admin chose to use a reference from the hilarious ‘Zoolander’ movie, where Ben Stiller’s character shows off the face (Magnum) that they had all been waiting for.

Holm’s opportunity to start against the Highlands allowed Celtic captain Callum McGregor to rest up and no-one could argue with the wisdom in that move from Brendan Rodgers. The manager rates Holm very highly indeed but is continually vocal in complaining about the Norwegian taking the easy pass backwards to a central defender rather than look for the more difficult forward pass. That’s what he’ll have to master if he is going to break into this Celtic midfield on a regular basis.
