Timo Weah’s heartfelt tribute to Emiliano Sala

CELTIC STAR Timo Weah has paid his respects to Emiliano Sala, the Cardiff City striker who lost his life in the plane crash near the Channel Islands as he headed back to Cardiff from Nantes.

Weah of course played in the French league with PSG while Sala was starring up front for Nantes. That form of course is what earned him his dreamed move to play in the English Premier League.

Last night Dorset Police confirmed that the body that investigators had been recovered earlier in the week from the plane wreckage was the 28 year old footballer.

The young Celtic Star wrote on his tribute on his Instagram account. Timo wrote:

“Heartbreaking… Never take life and the blessings you have for granted because you never know when it can all just disappear.

“God bless his family. My deepest condolences.”

And the Argentina CSC has also sent their condolences to the family of their fellow countryman Sala.

“We’d like to send our condolences to Emiliano Sala’s family after he passed away.

Rest in peace wee man!”
