Today’s Celtic team and tactics

Brendan Rodgers has named his Celtic side for this afternoon’s vital Champions League Qualifier in Armenia against Alashkert.

Scott Brown as expected has made it despite his injury scare from Saturday’s win in Dublin over Shamrock Rovers.

Moussa Dembele and Odsonne Edouard will provide Celtic with a potent strike force and Kieran Tierney will bomb forward on the left side allowing Celtic to convert to 3 at the back in the manager’s flexible, attack minded system.

Expect Scotty Sinclair and Lewis Morgan to provide strong running and additional goal threats as the game goes on.

A narrow Celtic win today would do just nicely and we can finish off the job next week in Paradise.
