Tom Rogic was not included in the International update offered by Celtic earlier today. The playmaker started the 4-0 win over Ross County but he limped off in the first half with Matt O’Riley replacing him. Rogic was on the end of a lunging tackle from Kayne Ramsay, which resulted in a straight red card from Don Robertson.

The Socceroos play Japan and Saudi Arabia in a crucial double-header with a place in the World Cup at stake. Another player missing the Australia v Japan game is Daizen Maeda, who has withdrawn due to fitness concerns.
The 29-year-old has been in excellent form under Ange Postecoglou. His compatriot’s arrival in Glasgow’s East End has resulted in a resurgence of Rogic. The player and manager will be hoping that the player is back in time for the Glasgow Derby at Ibrox on the first weekend of April.
