Tommy Callaghan on signing duties as Harry Hood Twice as Good arrives

Harry Hood – Twice as Good has arrived and Harry’s great pal and former Celtic teammate Tommy Callaghan appears to have bitten off more than he can chew this evening as he works his way through a mini-mountain on pre-ordered copies of this wonderful book which will be posted out in the morning to everyone who has ordered.

Matt Corr, has interviewed many of Harry former teammates at all of his clubs – including Tommy and the likes of Kenny Dalglish and Davie Hay and many more – and Harry’s family have been wonderfully helpful and are fully supportive of the book, which will see £1 from every copy sold going directly to Marie Curie, in memory of the late Celtic great Harry Hood.

Many of the photographs in the book have never been published before and have come from the private Hood family collection. There are 40 chapters, over 220,000 words and it’s a wonderfully written hardback book that is beautifully presented. It has taken over Matt Corr’s life for the entire year!

The shirts shown alongside Tommy are all match worn shirts belonging to Harry’s family and worn by Celtic legend Harry, himself. Harry Hood – Twice as Good is available now from Celtic Star Books and you can order a signed copy below. The book will also be on sale at Celtic FC stores and the club’s online store shortly.
