Celtic has made contact with Mathias Kvistgaarden‘s representatives as they look to clinch a deal to sign their long-term target…

The Danish forward has been the subject of interest from the Scottish Champions since the summer that Brendan Rodgers returned the club.
According to The Express, Celtic have made contact as they look to sound out a potential replacement for Kyogo. Kvistgaarden has been regularly linked with Celtic for some time but it remains to be seen whether a deal will be forthcoming.
Kvistgaarden has14 goals and 5 assists in 22 appearances
The striker has scored 14 goals and assisted 5 times in 22 appearances so far this season. The pacy striker has caught the eye of a number of clubs and with two and a half years remaining on his current deal, Brondby will be in a strong negotiating position. It is believed that Brondby want £7m for their talisman.

During the week, Kyogo was bizarrely the subject of a news article from MLS Soccer announcing the 29-year-old had signed for Atlanta United. Kyogo incidentally has given Celtic a half-time lead at Dingwall but could have had a hat-trick.

However, this was an error as Kyogo lined up for Celtic this afternoon in Dingwall. Although, it hasn’t quashed rumours that Kyogo may move on either this month or during summer. The striker turns 30 later this month and changed his agents last summer, suggesting that he may considering life beyond Celtic.
The likelihood is that Celtic will delay any deal to allow Kyogo to leave until the end of the window with the Champions League games out of the way. Ronny Deila has taken over at the MLS club and he will likely be more sympathetic to Celtic given their connection.
Sondre Orjasaeter and KT the other Celtic targets

Celtic are also in talks with Sarpsborg over a deal to sign 21-year-old winger Sondre Orjasaeter. The Norwegian U21 is reportedly valued at £7m despite joining the club for £700k last year. The club are also pursuing a pre-contract agreement for Kieran Tierney as they look to bring the 27-year-old back to the club.

Kvistgaarden, Orjasaeter and Tierney would certainly make it an eventual and exciting transfer window for Celtic.
