Transfer Twist – Mathias Kvistgaarden offered to Eintracht Frankfurt as potential Omar Marmoush replacement…

Mathias Kvistgaarden linked to Eintracht Frankfurt
In a transfer twist, notable media outlet Bild in Germany are reporting that long-term Celtic target, Mathias Kvistgaarden, has been offered to Eintracht Frankfurt as a potential replacement for outgoing attacker, Omar Marmoush.
The Egyptian is said to be close joining English Premier League champions Manchester City, with Pep Guardiola looking for fresh blood to ignite a flailing season so far.

The man who has netted 14 goals in the 16 appearances in the Bundesliga this term is hot property and Guardiola obviously feels that the attacker can come straight in and make an impact in the English top flight for City.
£67 million is the reputed fee
£67 million is the reputed figure that it will take for the Citizens to get this one over the line, leaving Frankfurt with an almighty kitty to play around with when he does depart the club.

Kvistgaarden could replace Manchester City bound Omar Marmoush
Now Bild reckon that Danish striker Kvistgaarden, who Brendan Rodgers is an admirer of, could be in the German club’s sights as one who can replace Marmoush when the wide man finally calls time on his career in Frankfurt.
However, the report also stipulates that the Bundesliga side are keen on a deal for Stade Rennais player, Arnaud Kalimuendo, although it also advises that Rennes may be very reluctant to do a deal this winter transfer window and may reject any advances.

No recent Celtic bid for Kvistgaarden despite ongoing interest
It’s still all purely conjecture as to whether or not Celtic plan on making a concrete bid for Kvistgaarden once again, as any potential deal for the Brondby star would depend entirely on Kyogo departing. By the sound of it though, Kyogo will be staying put for now – at least until the end of the season – unless something drastic happens in the meantime.
With that being said, a move for the Dane would be unlikely under the current circumstances.

Would say that we may well be looking at potential replacement players for both Hatate and kyogo in the making?
Timing mid season, especially with an ongoing CL campaign currently in operation. Is a huge stumbling block to try and overcome.
Ideally it could be regarded as getting in such replacement players earlier, for the bedding in period required.
Yet such players would want to be possibly included within our CL squad, which is a big attraction for players prepared to join ourselves in the first place?
So struggling to see how such a proposition could work, with only 3 changes allowed within our CL squad, for the knockout phase, for when that’s actually confirmed?
And this with the Taylor/ Tierney ongoing situation.
And with the need of a wide option required, but for which side now, especially with yang looking far better on the left than the right, so an imbalance in that regards currently in operation within our squad?
This window always had the potential of being a hard one to negotiate ourselves through, with the amount of circumstances involved within it?
Turning out at present, to be maybe more complicated than what at first glance seemed fairly straightforward.
The amount of speculation at present, only complicates matters moreso, with trying to see how potential targets could actually fit into the squad places available, and keeping the balance correct within the squad at the same time?
Rodgers isn’t getting paid a vast wage for nothing, and still huge decisions awaits, with time constraints in operation also?
