Unique Angle – Jota’s Pass, Kyogo’s finish will be talked about for years

UEFA might not want to give Celtic’s second goal to David Turnbull but they can do one. It’s just as well that the ball ended up in the back of the net after some comical finishing from the midfielder after Jota set him up too. Had that been cleared we’d have had to endure a nervous final few ten minutes.

But it ended up in the back of the net and while it’s never going to be a contender for Goal of the Season the Celtic opener certainly is. Like Tony Watt’s finish against Barcelona and Henrik’s chip in the 6-2 game, Tuesday’s goal will be talked about and watched over and over again for years to come.

Here’s the Unique Angle video from Celtic TV and it’s even better than the BT Sport footage. Watch the two – Jota and Kyogo together at the end of the goal celebrations. Jota wasn’t initially there due to him being so deep lying when he made the forward pass (just typing that makes me think of the late, great Charlie Gallagher who himself contributed to at least two vey famous Celtic goals – so these guys are walking in hallowed footsteps).

You will enjoy watching this maybe half a dozen times this morning…
