Video – “A Cause. A Culture. A Calling.” Celtic launch season tickets for 10IAR season

CELTIC have this afternoon launched the club’s season ticket for next season, which barring an absolute collapse in the closing stages of this 9IAR season will see Celtic going for the magical ten.

The script looks like this…

Of all the football greats to pass through Parkhead’s gates, one man said it best:
“They’re there and they’re always there”
Be There Again

Celtic fans are envied the world over
The loudest “secret weapon” anyone’s ever had
When you stand behind us, we stand taller, run faster & fight harder
Together, we’ll be there

Answer the call
Take your place in Paradise

It’s going to be the easiest marketing job in the world of sport selling season tickets for Celtic Park as we go for the big Ten. And ironically enough the appeal is likely to spend across the city with the chance to STOP THE TEN being the big marketing message that will come out of Ibrox which once again remains trophy-free this season.

What happens after that is less clear, should Celtic get Ten-in-a-Row. Helpful hint for the Govanite marketeers – stop them getting 55.

It’s Magic You Know, It’s Gonna Be Ten-in-a-Row….It’s Magic but for those on the waiting list, you are probably gonna have to wait just a little bit longer before they get the chance to buy a season ticket for Paradise.

One idea that the club could look at is a scheme were season tickets that aren’t going to be used could be re-sold on a game by game basis, perhaps for £30 with a tenner going back to the season ticket holder who cannot attend that game, another tenner going to the Celtic FC Foundation and the third tenner going to the club for running the scheme.

Everyone is a winner including everyone at each game as we get closer to 60,000 at the game rather than 60,000 tickets sold. There were maybe a few thousand empty seats on Saturday against St Mirren.

Other clubs do this type of thing and for the Ten-in-a-row season it would be well worthwhile looking at it?

You may have missed this from Sunday evening, but it is well worth reading today. Malcolm Rodger, a survivor of child abuse abuse in Scottish football talks us through how he believes that all the survivors can get justice and how this sordid, disgraceful subject can be concluded once and for all. Please read and if you are minded to do so, please support him in trying to reach his target.
