Aaron Mooy has given his first interview as a Celtic player after the 31-year-old was unveiled today. Arriving on a free transfer from Shanghai Port, Mooy and Moritz Jens became the fifth and sixth arrivals of the summer.
Mooy has had spells at St Mirren, Melbourne City, Huddersfield and Brighton and now arrives at Celtic ready to link up with Ange Postecoglou, who coached him for three years at International level.
The player spoke of his delight at the move and he will hope to replicate part of the success that his compatriot, Tom Rogic, enjoyed in Glasgow.
🗣️ “It’s an amazing feeling. I’m just so happy to be here and it’s a massive club with huge history and I want to be part of it, so I’m looking forward to the challenges ahead.”
