Credit must go to Aaron Mooy, who found Maeda with a clever pass before the Japanese forward squared the ball for his attacking colleague Abada. It was Abada’s final contribution.

Celtic can better the record of largest margin of victory in an away game if they can score another. The scoreline matches the previous record of eight goals, matched Nov 1988 – 8-0 away to Hamilton and set in Dec 1897 – 9-1 away to Clyde
