It’s got to the point where it would be fascinating to see how much Odsonne Edouard would actually be worth in the transfer market. Obviously that would mean him leaving so we don’t want to see it, but you have to think that his price tag will keep on rising.
It’s obvious that people outside of Scotland will compare him to Alfredo Morelos purely due to goal scoring numbers, but Eddy shows time and time again he is the complete striker.

He’s physical, quick, technically fantastic and has a cool head in front of goal. The reason he’s worth so much more than Morelos is is ability to link the play and create goals for the team. He’s so good that he doesn’t need a strike partner to get the best out of him, so it allows his team to dominate the midfield as well.

With an even more pointless than usual international break from a Scotland point of view coming up, it’s time to enjoy sitting top of the Premiership and Europa League group for the next couple of weeks at least.
