Video: Arne Engels restores Celtic’s lead with cool penalty

Arne Engels coolly stepped up and scored from the spot to put Celtic in the lead against St Mirren. The Scottish Champions know that they can go 16 points clear over Rangers with three points today but are in a battle against the Saints.

After Jefferey Schlupp scored a wonderful goal to give Celtic the lead, Declan John restored parity with a good free kick strike.

Ryan Alebiosu needlessly went to ground after Daizen Maeda got beyond him leaving Matthew MacDermid no choice but to point to the spot. The Belgian midfielder stepped up and sent Hemmings the wrong way to make it 2-1.
