Video – Beach Bhoy Carl Starfelt prepares for pre-season training

Carl Starfelt, injured on International duty with Sweden, is working with a personal trainer in Majorca as he pushes to recover from his injury for the start of new season. The Celtic defender sustained his injury in the Nations League match against Slovenia.

It was unclear whether the injury was yet another hamstring issue for Celtic to deal with, or perhaps a bad problem and judging by the video shown below, it certainly points to the latter and it looks like Starfelt is making excellent progress and is going all out to be fully fit by the time Ange Posteglou’s squad gathers again for pre-season training on Monday 27 June.

Starfelt is seen working alongside a personal trainer from MVP Akademi, a Swedish sports performance and coaching company.
