Nir Bitton made it 4-0 to Celtic after he saw his tame penalty saved by Jamie Macdonald in the Raith Rovers. The rebound came straight back to the Israeli who nudged the ball over the goalie and into the net. The skipper for today will know that he will likely be off penalties after that effort but it sealed the 4th goal of the afternoon for the Celts.
Matthews was booked but replays indicated that it was Sean Mackie that had handled the ball. Steven McLean, the whistleblower, may have mistaken who handled the ball but he certainly spotted the contact with the arm.
