Video: Boyce appears to be offside but goal stands, 2-1

Liam Boyce pulled one back for Hearts to give Robbie Neilson’s side something to fight for in the second half of the game at Tynecastle. Celtic were cruising at 2-0 thanks to goals from Reo Hatate and Giorgos Giakoumakis but the Northern Irishman, who grew up a Celtic fan, was able to beat Joe Hart on the angle.

It appeared to be marginally offside, with Cameron Carter-Vickers the last man in defence. Although, the goal stood and any complaints that Neilson might have about Giakoumakis’ goal will surely be forgotten. Celtic have had the chances to put the game to bed but a combination Craig Gordon, John Souttar and poor finishing has resulted in the Jambos having something to play for in the final third.
