Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has quipped that Jose Mourinho would give the Scottish media better headlines if he became Celtic manager. The Portuguese manager was asked about whether he’d be interested in managing in Scotland, which he confirmed that he would, praising the passion in the Scottish game.
Speaking ahead of Celtic’s Scottish Cup meeting with Hibernian on Sunday, Rodgers had a humorous take on Mourinho’s comments.
"I've heard he's taking my job!" 😂

Mourinho called Rodgers a ‘fantastic’ manager when discussing Celtic and managing in Scotland. The Scottish Champions are not looking for a new manager and will want to retain Rodgers on a longer deal.
