Carl Starfelt marked his Celtic return by scoring his first goal for the club and extending Ange Postecoglou’s side lead at Rugby Park. Starfelt, who was injured on international duty with Sweden, returned to the side as a second half sub replacing fellow goalscorer Moritz Jenz.
The defender capitalised on the ball dropping favourably to him to make it 4-0 to Celtic and extend the Scottish Champions’ goal difference at the top of the league. Starfelt’s initial effort was saved by Walker but it fell favourably to the big defender, who made no mistake at the second time of asking.

The player was visibly delighted with his goal, celebrating in front of the Celtic support. The points were secured at half-time but it was good to see Starfelt back in action, even though he will have an effort to regain his place.
