Video – Celtic Fans At Their Best In Europa League

The Bhoys take on FC Copenhagen on Thursday, in the first leg of the Europa League last 32. Already some fans have set off for Denmark, and the tweets of excitement have been slowly appearing throughout the day.

It has all the hallmarks of a great trip. Celtic are in superb form and Copenhagen have lost their only competitive match since December. The Danish club also have injury problems, but as ever, nothing is a given in football… apart from a party wherever the Celtic support travels.

There’s been no better moment from the Celtic support in the Europa League this season, than the scenes at full time in Rome, when the Hoops toppled Lazio. This video has been viewed thousands of times, but the sound of the Celtic faithful belting out ‘Papa Francesco Ale’ in the Stadio Olimpico is something that is well worth hearing again – particularly if you are travelling over to the match and need an excuse to get in the mood for the trip.

Let’s hope the Celtic support have similar cause for celebration on Thursday night!
