Video: Celtic Fans Party In Copenhagen Irish Bar, A Year Ago Today

It’s been a long time since Celtic fans were able to attend matches or so much as visit an Irish/club themed bar ahead of a match. The first murmurs of the coronavirus spreading to Europe were beginning at this stage last year, but the full impact wouldn’t be felt for another few weeks.

Celtic faced Copenhagen in Denmark and the travelling fans were enjoying themselves, on the eve of the match, in one of the cities Irish bars.

Taken on this day in 2020, the following video shows scenes from a very different world.

There was similar jubilation in the ground 24 hours later.

Those days seem a long way off, but are great recent memories to look back on.
