Celtic flop Lewis Morgan has confirmed that he is a Rangers supporter. The New York Red Bulls forward made the admission ahead of today’s Scottish Cup Semi Final, which Celtic won.
I respect Lewis Morgan, went over to the USA and has done well for himself but I don’t think you can just switch between allegiances and go ‘back to being a Rangers fan’, especially in a rivalry as fierce as that pic.twitter.com/K6UqSOFo9P

Signed by Brendan Rodgers in January 2018, Morgan was loaned back to St Mirren before a move to Sunderland and then finally merited some action under Neil Lennon. Morgan started the 2019 League Cup Final but was replaced by Odsonne Edouard – who won the free-kick that resulted in Jullien’s goal.
He didn’t seem to be at the level required to make a lasting impact at Celtic but he seems to have taken well to life in the United States of America. His work rate was always an impressive feature but he was never good enough.
Maybe the fact that he was a Rangers supporter impacted upon his performances.
