Video: Celtic legend Scott Brown’s cheeky Rangers comment ahead of Ibrox return

Celtic legend Scott Brown is preparing his Ayr United team to face Rangers in the Scottish Cup Fifth Round this weekend. The 38-year-old assumed control at Somerset Park after they had drawn to face Philippe Clement’s side in the Cup and it is no surprise that the rivalry that he enjoyed with the Ibrox club is one of the sub-plots.

Speaking to BBC Sport, Brown was smirking as he said that he “has a lot of love for Rangers” with a smirk across his face.

The domineering midfielder on his day bowed out at Celtic after 620 appearances, 46 goals and 22 trophies in the Green and White. Broony also enjoyed a number of fine days at Ibrox, including a 5-1 win.

Hopefully, he can mastermind another successful day at the weekend.
