Video: Celtic let two goal lead slip as Betis pounce twice on defensive mistakes

Celtic were 2-0 up against a top La Liga side in the Europa League but Ange Postecoglou’s side surrendered their lead as two goals in three minutes from Manuel Pellegrini’s side restored parity for half time.

Tony Ralston’s header was not cleared and neither Jota nor Soro could stop the ball from bouncing around the defence before Miranda put the ball into the net and restoring hope for the Spaniards.

They had their second just moments later.

Cameron Carter-Vickers, who has been so assured, played Iglesias on-side and the Spanish striker was able to square the ball and beat the on-rushing Joe Hart, leaving Juanmi with an empty net to capitalise on.

A huge second half coming up for Celtic but hopefully a result can be taken back to Glasgow.
