Video – Celtic training ahead of trip to Easter Road

Celtic have been training at their Lennoxtown complex ahead of a crucial league match at Easter Road tonight. The Bhoys haven’t won in Leith since January 2014, with Hibernian FC having a stint in the Scottish Championship between 2015-17. Former Celtic manager, Neil Lennon, led the Edinburgh side back to the top-flight in Scotland and since then we have not been able to record a win away at Easter Road.

Ange Postecoglou has gained vital victories and three points at Pittodrie and Fir Park of late, breaking away day hoodoo’s from as far back as the February of last season. With a new found solidity at the spine of the team, Ange and his players will be looking to make it three out of three away on the road, whilst breaking a long-standing statistic that slants against Celtic.

The fluency and control that was exerted during the home win against Scotland’s most successful team last year, St Johnstone, will need to be executed again if we are to return to Glasgow with another hoodoo broken and three points in the bag.

I'm a Garngad Bhoy through and through. My first ever Celtic game was a friendly against Italian side Parma at Celtic Park, in 2002. Currently a student of English Literature and Education at the University of Strathclyde for my sins. Favourite game would be a toss up between beating Manchester United with that Naka freekick, or the game against the Oldco when Hesselink scored in the dying seconds. I'm still convinced Cal Mac is wasted playing that far back.
