Video: Celtic’s McGregor and Arsenal’s Tierney involved as McGinn opens the scoring for Scotland

Callum  McGregor made an instant impact for Scotland, combining with his former Celtic teammate Kieran Tierney to assist as John McGinn fired Steve Clarke’s side into the lead. McGregor slipped the ball between the lines, allowing the advancing Tierney to cutback to McGinn, who made no mistake with a precise finish into the corner.

It was reminiscent of the Brendan Rodgers era with the perfectly weighted McGregor pass meeting Tierney, who made it look easy as he looked up and found the Aston Villa midfielder.
