Celtic winger Mikey Johnston has scored for West Brom this evening against Cardiff City. The Irish Internationalist arrived in the box and finished off a move with a cool finish. The 24-year-old moved to the EFL Championship side on a loan deal until the end of the season to get his game time up and it is clear that he is having the desired impact.
After just thirty seconds, Johnston had the ball in the net on his first start for The Baggies.

Johnston’s former Celtic teammate David Turnbull is turning out for Cardiff.
Hopefully Johnston can take advantage of the game time at the club and Brendan Rodgers can reevaluate the winger.
You can kid yourself on all day long if you choose to. But respectfully, Mikey is not good enough for Celtic, never was and never will be. For the sake of his own career he needs to find his own level and accept that. He can have a pretty successful career, just not with the only big club in Scotland!
