Leigh Griffiths thought he had given Celtic the lead over Hibs in the final pre-season friendly of the season when his chip over the goalie appeared to be headed net bound. However, Patryk Klimala showed his ruthlessness as he nipped in to tap the ball in and steal the goal. Griffiths, who missed the pre-season trips to Loughborough and France, made his Celtic return today and skinned two Hibs players before getting a shot away.

Klimala showed his ruthlessness and that’s something Neil Lennon will like.
Earlier, Doig struck first to give Hibs the lead before Karamoko Dembele equalised after some brilliant midfield work by Olivier Ntcham. Patryk Klimala was denied twice in the space of minute with a block and the post denying him of his second goal for the club.
