Video: Class from Sky as Carter-Vickers discusses Celtic’s Black History

Celtic defender Cameron Carter-Vickers spoke about the club’s connection to Black History as the month remembering and recognising important people and events relating to Black culture and history draws to an end. The USA Internationalist led the Celts out but before the game, he featured on a pre-match segment that deserves attention and acclaim.

Whilst Celtic were impressive on the pitch as they recorded a win against Livingston earlier today, Sky deserve recognition for helping to put this together. However, Carter-Vickers deserves praise for his delivery as he spoke about those that have gone before him, such as Gil Heron, Paul Elliot, Henrik Larsson and Bobo Balde, amongst others.

Celtic are a club open to all and it was particularly powerful having CCV speak about these values and feeling welcome at the club. Credit to Sky for putting it together. Celtic ran out 3-0 winners with goals from Kyogo, Greg Taylor and Jota completing the scoring.
