Video: Craig Bellamy’s Brilliant Hat-Trick Against Dundee United

The early 2000s were wonderful at Celtic Park. A European final, beating Champions League giants and watching top class players such as Larsson, Hartson, Sutton and Petrov. When the King of Kings left, there was a void that needed to be filled and in time, Martin O’Neill temporarily did that with the loan signing of another sublime striker – Craig Bellamy.

16 years have now elapsed since Bellamy’s hat-trick at Tannadice in a wonderful 3-2 victory. The game lives long in the memory as does the period as a whole, when Celtic attracted some top drawer footballers.
