Video: Daizen Maeda makes it 6-1, stunning assist

Daizen Maeda made it 6-1 as the rampant Celts demonstrated their ability in front of goal. The Japanese forward, who has struggled to find the net, looked delighted as he got on the end of a cross to score.

Hopefully the goal will be a much needed confidence boost for the player. He has played with a degree of zip today and the goal was a just reward for him. Ange persisted with the player, bringing him on at half time and he capped the scoring.

Earlier, Giorgos Giakoumakis scored a double but the headline writer was James Forrest who scored a hat trick on his way to registering his 100th goal for Celtic.

  1. Maeda showed a bit of zip because he wasn’t being continually asked to be a headless chicken. Good performance though all round . Hibs were rank it has to be said. John
