Video – Defensive disasters gifts West Ham an equaliser then Antonio gives visitors the lead

Moments after Ryan Christie whipped in a perfectly judged cross from the left touchline for Odsonne Edouard who failed to hit the target with his header with the West Ham goal at his mercy, young Dane Murray made a horrendous error to allow West Ham striker Antonio the easiest of finishes.

The youngster looked devastated at his error but it’s better happening in their pre-season friendly rather than in the serious Champions League business in midweek. Still it has to be a worry for Ange Postecoglou that for the second game in a row Celtic while looking like doubling their lead end up gifting an equaliser to the opposition.

And Antonio have just hit Celtic on the counter attack to put the Hammers ahead, against the win of play. The West Ham striker outpaced Murray and Welsh as he raced in on goal, easily beating Barkas at his near post. Then Soro conceded a needless penalty on around 38 mins barging into the back of Antonio and after a debate on who was going to take the spot kick Noble sent Barkas the wrong way to make it 3-1 to West Ham.

Here are the latest West Ham goals…the half-time score is Celtic 1 West Ham 3.
