Leigh Griffiths smashed Celtic into a 2-0 lead at the FOYS Stadium against Hamilton Accies this afternoon. The 30-year-old combined with his French striking colleague Odsonne Edouard to blast the ball into the net. In celebrating, Griffiths paid tribute to Edouard for his deft lay-off which gave Griffiths the chance to score his third goal in a week.
Neil Lennon will be delisted at the pair combining so well, especially with the visit to Ibrox on the horizon. Edouard and Griffiths were unstoppable at the tail end of last season.
