The official Scottish Cup TikTok have posted the former Celtic striker, Odsonne Edouard’s cheeky panenka penalty against his ex-teammate, Craig Gordon and judging by his reaction afterwards the former Celtic goalkeeper was far from happy with his old teammate.
In December 2020, Celtic faced Hearts at Hampden in the Scottish Cup final. The game was full of goals with a stunning top-corner strike from Ryan Christie, a tap-in for Leigh Griffiths, as well as a penalty from Odsonne Edouard. The Bhoys came up against their ex-goalkeeper Craig Gordon, who moved to Hearts earlier that year. Celtic narrowly defeated Hearts 4-3 in penalties, after drawing the match three each in regular and extra time.
It was a bright moment in a dismal season for Celtic and it’s incredible to think back on that as the day Celtic completed an almost certainly never to be repeated Quadruple Treble yet there were no fans there to celebrate and the club was in an altogether miserable place that wouldn’t lift until Ange Postecoglou arrived in Glasgow six months later.

I seem to recall that we weren’t too happy at some saves Gordon had in that game either! Eddy did nothing wrong. Did Gordon expect him to miss on purpose?
