The official SPFL Youtube account has posted the highlights of last night’s game that took place in Leith. Celtic breezed over Hibernian, scoring four, controlling possession, and keeping a clean sheet. After a short period of pressure at the beginning of the match, Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart was left with very little to do.
Goals started stacking up as the Hoops eventually put four past David Marshall, with Socceroos star Aaron Mooy netting two, Daizen Maeda pulling off a 25-yard stunner, and Kyogo smoothing dribbling around Marshall to conclude Celtic’s scoring for the evening.
Everyone seemed to be on their best behaviour, as there wasn’t a single yellow card handed out to either team during the entire encounter and Hibs after a bright start will be glad that they don’t have to play this Celtic team for a while!
Next up for Celtic is a trip to Ibrox on 2 January and a similar scoreline would be fantastic and it’s certainly not unrealistic.
