Former Celtic Academy star Ben Doak has just scored an incredible goal to put Liverpool’s Academy side 4-3 up against theRangers in the the UEFA Youth Cup.
“What a player this young man is, brilliant run, brilliant goal. this young man is something special. What a goal Ben Doak the former Celtic Junior has just cut throw theRangers back line and from absolutely nothing has put Liverpool back in front,” the BT Sport commentator said and no wonder. What a goal that was!
The more you see of Ben Doak the more annoyed you get that we were unable to hold onto him last season, despite the best efforts of the club, including Ange Postecoglou who gave him a clear route to the Celtic first team, with appearances against Dundee United and theRangers at the start of this year.
That’s him scored against theRangers in both games for Liverpool and he also tasted victory in February wearing the Hoops coming on in the closing stages of the 3-0 Celtic win.
80′ – DOAKKK!! A special run from Ben Doak, who takes on several Rangers defenders and slots the ball into the bottom corner 👏
