Video: Excellent goals as Young Celts lead against Rangers at Hampden

Celtic’s U18s are ahead in the Youth Cup Final against Rangers at Hampden. Managed by ex-Stirling Albion boss Stuart McLaren, the Hoops have scored two excellent goals from Mitchel Frame and Corey Thompson. The U18s are facing Rangers in the Scottish Youth Cup Final and despite going behind, have roared into the lead.

Rangers are clearly looking to hit Celtic on the break and Roberts’ second of the game ensures that this match will continue to go end to end. The youngsters have employed Ange’s mantra of ‘We Never Stop’ and the third goal was not as silky as the first two but shows that the Academy are also being drilled to take advantage of opposition mistakes. Daniel Kelly capitalised on the mistake from the goalkeeper and defender to make it 3-2.

Ange is in attendance with Michael Nicholson and Peter Lawwell to watch the future generation of the club compete against the Ibrox club. Celtic have created a number of chances and will be keen on getting more goals while making sure that their rearguard remains
