It’s plainly obvious that foreign sides will try to bash the standard of the Scottish league in an attempt to drive down any transfer fee they might have to pay.
Maybe they’d point to the shambles of a performance from the Scottish national side in Moscow last night which sadly was not a one off. In fact it is becoming a regular occurrence and something that must surely lead to fundamental changes at the Scottish FA?
He may not be Scottish but Odsonne Edouard is undoubtedly the top striker in Scottish football, he has shown exactly what he can do in Europe and at international level, so there won’t be any bargains to be had with the striker.
A recent report in The Evening Times suggested Man United should make a £30m move to bring the striker to Old Trafford, only that’s starting to look like it wouldn’t be enough.
This wonderfully taken double for France U21’s shows exactly how brilliant he is:

The assist from Guendouzi isn’t bad either… ☄️pic.twitter.com/NwwtA2FaP7

Odsonne Edouard (21, Celtic) gets his 5th goal in just 3 appearances for France u21 after two minutes tonight.
Got 15 in 12 at u17 level (including 8 when winning the 2015 Euros) and netted at u18 & u19 level too.

Both goals show a top class forward in outstanding form. Here’s hoping the board can hold their nerve and don’t take the first big-money offer that comes in.
If Celtic do have to sell French Eddie, do it AFTER 10IAR is won and hold out for £50million. He’s worth every penny! He’s going to the very top of the game and must be pushing for a place in the French national side too.
