James Forrest opened the scoring for Celtic after a stunning counter-attack from the Scottish Champions. After Robert Snodgrass was foiled by Joe Hart seconds previous, Celtic burst forward as Reo Hatate played Tony Ralston into a promising area.
The full-back hit the touchline before a fizzed cross was deflected into the air, allowing James Forrest to score his 101st goal for the club. It was a blistering counter-attack but Ange will be furious that his side were as easily carved open by the hosts after surrendering possession.

Tony Ralston had the ball in the net minutes later but referee Nick Walsh blew for a foul, seemingly Giakoumakis on Kio. However, replays indicated that the pair were holding each other. As a result, the VAR ref decided not to overturn the on-field decision but Celtic should be 2-0 up.
