Video: Frimpong’s emotional goodbye to Celtic

Jeremie Frimpong sealed a £11.5m deal to Bayer Leverkusen earlier today as the ex-Man City kid swaps the SPFL Premiership for the Bundesliga. Frimpomg arrived in August 2019 and was give the opportunity to play first team football.

The young right back won over the Celtic support with brilliant running and a humble yet energetic persona. The player is away to take a crack at the German league, which has attracted many youngsters that have come from English Academies.

Best of luck to Jeremie, he will be missed. Hopefully the money is reinvested.
